A trio of veteran players from across the toy, licensing, and finance industries are teaming up on a new venture.

C. Woodrow “Woody” Browne, Alan Gordon, and Peter Van Raalte have formed Browne, Gordon, and Van Raalte LLC (BG&VR) to provide analysis, strategic planning, and go-to-market solutions for new and established manufacturers, licensors, agencies, and licensees to help position their brands or products for success.

The three executives have worked on all sides of the business, with more than 100 years of combined experience that spans decades across companies and properties including Kenner, Marvel, DC Comics, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Harley-Davidson, MLB, NFL, NHL, Scholastic, and more.

“There is not a problem or issue that one of us has not confronted,” says Browne. “We have been on the ground floor and taken products from concept to market. We have seen property and product development from all angles, as manufacturers, licensors, licensees, agents, and retailers. We have managed licensing departments for major brands, acquired licenses, sourced, manufactured, and sold licensed product to all retail channels. We know how to make success happen.”

The company has offices in New Jersey, New York, and New Mexico to serve clients’ licensing and merchandising needs.

BG&VR will attend Toy Fair New York and Licensing Expo to meet with current and potential clients.
