The Toy Association is ready to throw open the doors to this year’s Toy Fair New York (TFNY), taking place February 22-25 at the Jacob K. Javits Center. The action will kick off with the annual ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will feature Shaquille O’Neal and toy photographer Mitchel Wu wielding the scissors. O’Neal will also unveil the new Tonka line from Basic Fun! as the industry explores more than eight football fields worth of products.
In addition to bringing together more than 25,000 members of the global toy industry, including manufacturers, buyers, inventors, and others to see the latest toys, games, and kids products, TFNY offers a host of educational programming, business-building seminars, and other after-hours special events for those working in the trade.
The Toy Book is your leading source for TFNY coverage including the latest news, special features, and breaking developments straight from the show floor. Additionally, our epic, 300-page Toy Fair issue hits the streets. It’s a must-read for anyone in the business of play.
“New York City will once again become the meeting grounds for the global toy community as hundreds of thousands of brand-new playthings make their debut at Toy Fair, and tens of thousands of attendees gather to make deals, network, and catch up on the latest trends and hot topics throughout the show’s countless educational opportunities,” says Steve Pasierb, president & CEO of The Toy Association. “With another sold-out show about to begin, Toy Fair New York continues to grow on the global stage as the place to see the most ground-breaking toys, games, and youth entertainment products.”
