TOMY is continuing the relaunch of its die-cast brand TOMICA in the U.S.

As the vehicles officially arrived at Amazon this week, the company launched its first official Instagram account for collectors in the U.S. The famous brand relaunched at retail with a Walmart-exclusive assortment for its 50th anniversary last year.

“The TOMICA brand of die-cast vehicles has always focused on Japanese car brands,” says Vincent D’Alleva, chief brand and commercial officer, TOMY International. “Today, of course, the popularity of TOMICA is still very strong in Japan, but in North America, we’re seeing a growing number of collectors investing in the brand for the first time. We are aiming to have a much closer relationship with North American collectors and fans of TOMICA than we’ve ever had before.”
