Hasbro’s Transformers brand is a key focus for the global toy and entertainment company over the next few years, and one key anchor point is coming to theaters next summer.

Today, Hasbro and Paramount Pictures unleashed a first look at director Steven Caple Jr’s Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, the latest live-action film in the long-running franchise. The new film continues the “period” storyline set up in Bumblebee as the Autobots, Decepticons, and Maxmimals face off in a globetrotting adventure in the early 1990s.

The Transformers brand has continued to be a growth property for Hasbro, and Rise of the Beasts — in theaters June 23, 2023 — will fuel new interest in the toy department with a robust line of new toys and collectibles for kids and kidults next year.
