Bo, the Take Care Bear, Starts Work at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital

Bo, the Take Care Bear, will leave Care-a-lot, the Care Bears’ magical world in the clouds, to be the Bear-in-Residence at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. He starts his job as newest member of the UH Rainbow Care Team on Wednesday, January 23. His sole mission is to help make children feel better and to brighten their days, lifting spirits by giving hugs.

With their caring ways and iconic belly badges, the super huggable Care Bears are determined to help children everywhere understand their feelings and emotions through love, music, belly badge magic, and big Care Bear hugs. American Greetings Properties introduced Care Bears in 1982 and, now, in the thirty years since their introduction, there have been more 100 bears in the Care Bears family with more than 125 million sold worldwide.
