The leading maker of equestrian-inspired toys, gifts, and collectibles just dropped the curtain on a limited-edition horse that will help to do some good.
Breyer introduces Hope, the 2021 Freedom Series Horse of the Year. For the release of this 1:12-scale collectible, Breyer partnered with Covenant House, a leading organization that provides food, shelter, immediate crisis care, and other programs to support homeless young adults in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. Breyer will donate $1 to Covenant House for each Hope model sold.
“We’re very proud of this year’s Horse of the Year and the unique opportunity to create a beautiful horse portraying the powerful, uniting message of hope for a brighter future and a better tomorrow,” says Stephanie Macejko, vice president, marketing, Breyer. “It is an honor to partner with Covenant House and support this wonderful organization providing safety, care, and hope to young people experiencing homelessness across our country.”
To celebrate the launch, Breyer is also a sponsor of Covenant House’s virtual fundraiser, Night of Covenant House Stars, on Monday, May 17. The event is free to the public and will feature appearances by a host of artists and performers, including Denée Benton and Daniel Yearwood of Hamilton, Charlie Day (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Ana Villafañe (New Amsterdam), and many more
