Build-A-Bear Workshop will celebrate National Teddy Bear Day in stores on Sept. 9. To mark the occasion, guests can make their own limited edition National Teddy Bear Day bear for $5 in U.S., Canada, and U.K. stores. Two additional bears will also be available for the promotion, including Lil’ Vanilla Bean Cub and Lil’ Hazelnut Cub.
For every $5 bear purchased on Sept. 9, Build-a-Bear will donate an additional bear to one of three charitable organizations: Toys for Tots in the U.S., Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada in Canada, and Childhood First in the U.K.
Build-A-Bear will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year, and this year’s National Teddy Bear Day marks the kick-off of more than a year of celebrations.
