It looks like game night might be in the cards this month.
PlayMonster’s Five Crowns, the five-suited rummy card game everyone and their grandmother loves to play, is commemorating its 25th anniversary this June with a special anniversary edition. Decked out in a new limited edition box, the Fives Crowns 25th Anniversary Edition features 116 cards, a custom scorepad, and a rulebook for 1-7 players, ages 8 and up.
“We’ve noticed that Five Crowns has become a must-have item on game night lists over the years,” says PlayMonster Associate Vice President of Marketing Lisa Wuennemann. “Since 1996, there has been so much love and appreciation for this game, and we’re very excited to celebrate its 25th year with the release of a limited, collector’s edition of Five Crowns.”
For a quarter-century, Five Crowns has become a staple in game nights and parties, especially for those looking for a new way to entertain themselves during the pandemic. This summer, PlayMonster is also collaborating with Pitch, an on-demand camping concierge service in the American Midwest that provides access and opportunity to experience camping without campers having to buy expensive and heavy gear. At each Pitch campsite, campers can find a deck of Five Crowns in their coolers to entertain themselves around the campfire.
The PlayMonster Five Crowns 25th Anniversary Edition will be available at Barnes and Noble this month.
