Retailers can add updated versions of classic games to shelves starting today, as Hasbro just released a lineup of its popular board games with Dr. Seuss-inspired themes.Â
The line includes Candy Land: The World of Dr. Seuss ($19.99), where kids ages 3 and up can play as a Dr. Seuss character and race the Cat in the Hat on the board’s rainbow path. The collection also features The Game of Life: Oh, the Places You’ll Go ($24.99). In this edition, kids ages 8 and up will travel through Wide Open Air, High Heights, and The Waiting Place.Â
During Operation: The Grinch Edition ($19.99), players ages 6 and up will perform surgery on the Grinch instead of Cavity Sam. The game includes sound effects that imitate the Dr. Seuss character, complete with nasty yet friendly comments. Additionally, during Monopoly Deal: How the Grinch Stole Christmas ($6.99), players ages 8 and up help the Grinch steal Christmas. Hasbro’s collection also includes Seussian versions of Trouble ($14.99) and Chutes and Ladders ($14.99).
The full lineup is available now at major retailers, except for Operation: The Grinch Edition, which releases Aug. 1. Learn more about Dr. Seuss products and games at drseuss.com
