Hasbro is extending its IP portfolio through a new licensing partnership with Nintendo. Through this agreement, the toy company will develop new products based on The Legend of Zelda.
The Legend of Zelda is a Nintendo video game series featuring mystical lands, magical objects, and courageous characters. Since its debut in 1986, the franchise has become a beloved icon in the video game industry, sparking nostalgia and excitement in the gaming community. The Legend of Zelda features action-packed, world-building adventures, with many titles focusing on Link and Zelda’s eternal battle against Ganondorf.
The licensing partnership will bring a new wave of merchandise to the toy and collectibles industry. Hasbro’s multi-year collaboration will commence next year, with a first look debuting at Comic-Con International: San Diego. At the convention, attendees will see the first reveals of three 6-inch scale figures.

“For decades, The Legend of Zelda franchise has captivated fans through its deep lore, unforgettable characters, and enduring sense of discovery,” says Billy Lagor, President of Toys and Board Games, Hasbro. “By combining Nintendo’s iconic storytelling with Hasbro’s leadership in action and role-play, we’re delivering toys that invite fans to play, explore, and forge their own epic adventures.”
