With Halloween on the horizon, Disguise is racing full speed ahead with a new lineup of licensed costumes, led by an expanded Sonic the Hedgehog assortment for the brand’s 35th anniversary.
The 2026 Sonic catalogue features a wide variety of styles and accessories for fans of all ages, including traditional costumes, character-inspired jumpsuits, wearable inflatables, masks, trick-or-treat pails, and more. Sonic, Tails, Shadow, and Knuckles all return to the collection, while Amy makes her Disguise debut with both a kids’ classic and an adult deluxe costume.
Alongside the Blue Blur, this year’s Halloween collection will also feature expanded licensed offerings inspired by some of the biggest names in entertainment, from breakout blockbusters like KPop Demon Hunters, Toy Story 5, Descendants Wicked Wonderland, the live-action Moana, Minions, and Minecraft, to evergreen IPs like Bluey, Super Mario, and PAW Patrol.
“Halloween costumes are a reflection of what captures everyone’s imagination throughout the year,” said Jessica Kavanaugh, Vice President of Global Media and Advertising at JAKKS Pacific, Disguise’s parent company. “Our role is to identify the franchises, characters, and cultural moments that resonate with fans and translate them into officially licensed costumes and accessories that allow people of all ages to participate.”
