LeapFrog has released new additions to its line of infant and preschool toys. The products featuring food and imaginative-play experiences include the Build-a-Slice Pizza Cart, Match & Learn Cookies, Rainbow Tea for Two, and Rainbow Learning Lights Mixer.

Kids can pretend to run a pizzeria with the Build-a-Slice Pizza Cart, which includes a pizza cutter, six toppings, a plate, a cheese shaker, and more. The cart’s oven will say cooking phrases, speak Italian, and play music while baking the pretend pizza. Kids can explore colors, shapes, and food while making food for their parents, siblings, and loved ones.

The Match & Learn Cookies consists of 26 letter-shaped cookies that say letter names and sounds when pressed. Kids can pretend to serve treats while learning the alphabet, colors, and flavors with the light-up oven button and the sing-along baking song.

Families can teach their kids colors and numbers with Rainbow Tea for Two. The teapot features sounds and music that encourage kids to refill the pot and decorate the cakes. Kids can throw a tea party by lifting the lid to change tea flavors and by matching the cakes with their shapes on the plates.

Kids can become bakers by making treats with the Rainbow Learning Lights Mixer, which includes a tilting head, a spinning paddle, ingredients, and a detachable mixing bowl. The button on the chef’s hat gives cooking instructions that kids can use to make more than 40 pretend recipes.

“Food role-play toys are a great way for children to feel like big helpers while also igniting their creativity and nurturing essential developmental skills,” says Dr. Clement Chau, Vice President of Learning, LeapFrog.

These four new products are currently available at major retailers.
