Cowabunga, construction! For the first time in more than a decade, The LEGO Group is launching a new building set featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT).
The Heroes on a Half Shell will star in a quartet of LEGO BrickHeadz figures, one for each cartoon crimefighter. Marking the first use of the license since 2014, this 567-piece set leans into the characters’ designs from more recent projects, such as Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and other animated series. The kit will hit LEGO Store shelves as early as April 1 for $39.99.
Fans ages 10 and up can build 3-inch-tall figures of Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello, complete with their colorful eye masks and their initials on their belts. Each turtle also wields its signature weapon, including a brick-built katana, twin sai, nunchucks, and a bo staff. As a bodacious bonus, the set also features a mini pizza accessory, perfect for snacking in the sewers between battles. Â
The TMNT BrickHeadz will officially launch April 1. To learn more, visit the LEGO Store’s website.
