Ollie’s Bargain Outlet has retail locations with closeout merchandise and excess inventory, including products such as books, housewares, and of course, toys. The company recently partnered with nonprofit Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals for an in-store fundraising campaign, with 480 participating stores in 29 states collecting donations from customers that will go to 88 member hospitals in the communities Ollie’s has a presence in.
We have been in business for more than 40 years and giving back to kids in the communities we serve is an integral part of our core values.
The campaign raised more than $600,000 for the CMN Hospitals, running from June 11 to July 8. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals focuses on fundraising for 170 children’s hospitals across the country, with donations going to treatment and healthcare services as well as equipment.
President and CEO of CMN Hospitals, Teri Nestel, is happy to see the success of the partnership. “Dedicated partners like Ollie’s are critical to helping kids get the best possible care, no matter life’s circumstances,” says Nestel. “For more than a decade, Ollie’s employees and customers have rallied around our cause and made a real and lasting impact on the communities in which they operate, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their support.”
Ollie’s offers some of the most discounted deals on name-brand toys customers can find, and its successful campaign with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals shows that it’s attracting plenty of them. The store currently operates 482 retail locations in 29 states.
