For many fans, The Disney Afternoon was a gateway to unforgettable stories and characters. Maestro Media is bringing that magic to game night with The Disney Afternoon Collection, the first set of games built for the REWIND modular tabletop system.
The set includes worlds from Disney’s DuckTales, Chip ’n Dale: Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, and Goof Troop. Each game features unique mechanics and challenges, and comes in collectible retro packaging.
The Disney Afternoon wasn’t just a TV block: it was a cultural heartbeat for a generation. Its unforgettable characters, adventurous storytelling, and catchy theme songs still spark joy and nostalgia in fans who grew up racing home to catch every episode.”
Launching this fall on Kickstarter, the collection will include exclusive editions and bonus content for early backers. Players can draft heroes and villains, adapt to scenarios, and enjoy approachable yet rich gameplay.
“Our goal was to create a fast but approachable game system that lets fans of all ages relive their favorite cartoon worlds on their tabletops,” says Javon Frazier, CEO of Maestro Media. “The Disney Afternoon: REWIND is the first title available in this style, demonstrating how the system delivers accessible, expandable gaming experiences.”
The REWIND system will grow over time, with future expansions adding characters, episodes, and new game modes while keeping play consistent across releases. The game’s Kickstarter page has more details and launch information.
