The toy industry expected to be back in the Big Apple today, but for the second year in a row, the uncertainty regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic hit the pause button on the biggest toy-related trade show in North America.
While we would’ve loved to deliver a new issue of the Toy Book to the industry live and in-person at the Javits Center, the BIG Toy Book is here!
“Despite the absence of Toy Fair New York this year, the Toy Book is proud to present you with our largest issue of the year, packed with everything you need to be prepared for the year ahead,” says Toy Book Editor-in-Chief Maddie Michalik. “Our team worked countless hours to pack as much valuable information as possible into this issue, including new product launches throughout the year, top trends, sales stats, expert commentary, and more.”
This year’s BIG Book features a stunning cover image by Mitchel Wu Toy Photography depicting Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story franchise whimsically riding atop an issue of the Toy Book in what may or may not be Andy’s bedroom. A special promotional cover serves up a first look at Moose Toys’ Magic Mixies Mixlings, the new brand extension for one of the hottest toys of the past year.
