It’s officially November, and with Halloween in the rearview mirror and the holiday rush upon us, The Toy Book is hitting the rewind button and taking a look back at some of the hottest stories of October 2023, as chosen by you, the readers.

Our October Toy Fair issue has proven to be a behemoth in terms of industry interest, dominating the charts in recent weeks alongside renewed interest in our 2023 edition of The BIG Toy Book (released in Feb.) and The Toy Foundation’s 2023 Toy of the Year (TOTY) Award Winners. A handful of older stories — including Jazwares’ Squishmallows coming to Happy Meals — resurfaced in the top 10 in terms of traffic this month, but only stories published in October qualify for an official spot in the top 10.
