The Toy Business Academy at Spielwarenmesse will take place on Feb. 4 at the Toy Business Forum, giving retailers an opportunity to give their sales teams professional training. Sales Coach Jörg Winter will teach participants how to deal with customers.
The Toy Business Academy directly targets all retail staff. Covering eight modules, each lasting about 15 minutes, Winter will present background information and practical tips on making deals confidently with all types of customers. For example, he will demonstrate how retailers can present themselves convincingly in any situation and respond appropriately to key customer groups.
The modules will include how to communicate with customers; motivate customers to buy; how to leave a lasting impression; confident complaint handling; active listening; using a sophisticated approach according to the type of customer; using good product presentation; and sustaining mood and performance.
