As the holiday season approaches, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is celebrating its 75th year of service by continuing toy collection and donation campaigns.
The Marines and 55,000 volunteers, in addition to local supporters and corporate partners of Toys for Tots, will be carrying out more than 830 toy collections. The donation programs will take place in the U.S., Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Participants in the Toys for Tots program will work to collect new and unwrapped toys from local businesses and within their communities to give to less fortunate children.

“With the assistance of various non-profit organizations throughout the country, Toys for Tots has the ability to extend our reach and provide support to families who are facing tremendous year-round challenges,” says Lieutenant General Jim Laster, USMC, President and CEO, Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
The 2022 campaign is underway and will continue until Dec. 25. Since the program’s start in 1947, Toys for Tots has been able to gift 627 million toys to more than 281 million children.
