Hasbro is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Transformers with a full lineup of new products on the way.

Transformers got its start in 1984 with action figures able to transform from robots to vehicles. Since its beginning in the world of toys, the brand has seen success with multiple animated series, movies, games, and more. Now, inspired by 40 years of Transformers history, Hasbro has secured licensing partners with plans to launch new products throughout the year.

Jada Toys has plans for a mashup between Transformers and another beloved ‘80s franchise, with two Ghostbusters and Transformers 1:24 scale die-cast vehicles. The HWR Ghostbusters Ecto-1 with Optimus Prime G1 graphics and the HWR G1 Optimus Prime with Ghostbusters Ecto-1 graphics will launch this Fall.

Other toy and collectible offerings on their way include the launch of new character figures in the Blind Box, ReAction, and Super Cyborg lines from Super7 this fall, as well as new Transformers x Pop! figures from Funko this summer.

Beloved since its inception in 1984, Transformers has evolved from an innovative toy line into a powerhouse franchise embraced by millions of fans around the world.
