Women in Toys, Licensing, and Entertainment (WiT) is partnering up with annual tabletop gaming convention Gen Con to connect professional women in the tabletop gaming industry with new networks, opportunities, and shared experiences.

These goals will be executed through collaborative initiatives and events between WiT and Gen Con year-round.

“Gen Con is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the gaming community,” says Jackie Martin, Senior Marketing Manager at Gen Con. “This partnership allows us to amplify our commitment and provide a platform for women professionals in the gaming industry to connect, learn, and grow together.”

WiT President Janice Ross adds, “Partnering with Gen Con and their Women’s Gaming Network enables the WiT community and women in the tabletop gaming industry to come together to network and collaborate. Together, we aim to foster a supportive environment that promotes career growth, while emphasizing the importance of diversity and inclusion.”

The first of said collaborations will take place on Aug. 3 in Indianapolis, during Gen Con. RSVP to the WiT x Gen Con Women’s Gaming Network Open House and learn more about the new partnership at members.womenintoys.com.
