Yu-Gi-Oh!

Yu-Gi-Oh! will have an expanded presence in the collectibles market thanks to new licensing deals.

Konami Cross Media NY Inc., which manages Yu-Gi-Oh! rights outside of Asia, inked deals with First 4 Figures, Zag Toys, Tsume, Taka, and Kitsune for several collectibles ranges at multiple price points to reach a wide array of collectors. The new products will begin hitting retail this summer.

“The amount of offerings in the collectible market for Yu-Gi-Oh! fans is about to get much bigger and better,” says Jennifer Coleman, VP, licensing and merchandising at Konami Cross Media NY. “Thanks to deals with First 4 Figures, Zag Toys, Tsume, Taka, and Kitsune, Yu-Gi-Oh! fans will be able to choose the right size collectible character at the right price point for their wallet.”

First 4 Figures and Tsume will produce collectibles at the highest end of the price point scale. This includes resin collectible statues that will be sold exclusively online to fans globally outside of Asia. Taka will offer high-end sculptured busts, available for sale throughout Europe. Kitsune’s resin Seto Kaiba with Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon statue will be available in France and Monaco only. Finally, Jazwares’ Zag Toys will launch a line of collectible Domez Yu- Gi-Oh! toys available worldwide (excluding Asia) at a kid-friendly size and price point.
