Moose Toys is the latest company to make plans for a visit to Troll Village.

The company behind Heroes of Goo Jit Zu and Magic Mixies inked a multiyear deal with Universal Brand Development to create a range of collectible figures inspired by DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls franchise.

Under the new deal, Moose Toys will develop a range of figures tied to the Nov. 17, 2023 release of the third Trolls theatrical film. Additionally, the terms of the agreement allow cross-collaboration between Trolls and Moose Toys’ original brands.

“Universal Brand Development tapping us to create collectibles for the Trolls franchise is an extraordinary opportunity,” says Menal McGrath, vice president global licensing, Moose Toys. “We cannot wait to infuse our Moose magic into movie collectibles and to bring the vibrant, colorful, diverse, and inclusive Trolls into several of our key original brands.”

Moose Toys’ range of Trolls collectible figures will include fan-favorite characters like Poppy and Branch, along with a host of colorful new characters that will debut when the latest film hits the big screen next year.

In recent years, Moose Toys has expanded its range of licensed toys, with brands such as Bluey, Octonauts, Strawberry Shortcake, and more.

Moose Toys will be represented by WildBrain CPLG in Booth No. E154 at this year’s Licensing Expo, taking place May 24-26 in Las Vegas.
