Blue Plate Media Services is teaming up with the Toy Association for the 14th annual Blue Plate Media Lounge, featuring hands-on tips from industry professionals that cover everything from trends to the challenges of approaching kids in the metaverse. The Lounge will be open on Monday, Oct. 2. at this year’s Toy Fair, which runs from Sept. 30-Oct. 3 at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Center.

Session 1, running from 10-11 a.m., is titled “The Trends Tools & Tactics To Win At Kids Media” and will feature David Becker, President of Blue Plate Media Services, and Tim Jones, Senior Media Director of Blue Plate Media Services. The 45-minute session will focus on building a successful media campaign with trends, facts, and media plan executions discussed.

Session 2, running from 12-1 p.m. and titled “How to Talk to Kids Today: Navigating Children’s Brand Experiences, Innovation & Responsibility in the Metaverse,” is moderated by Becker and features a chat with Dona Fraser, Senior Vice President of Privacy Initiatives at BBB National Programs and Lead at Children’s Advertising Review Unit. The session touches upon digital privacy, child safety in virtual environments, and best practices when creating online experiences for kids.

Finally, session 3 is an opportunity for one-on-one time with experts in the field. The session runs from 2-4 p.m. and invites attendees to pull up a chair and talk with media industry experts.
