It was 35 years ago this month that the worlds of rap and rock converged with the groundbreaking collaboration between Aerosmith and Run-DMC for an update to the former’s 1975 hit, “Walk This Way.” Now, the iconic rappers from Hollis, Queens are entering into a new collaboration with an unlikely partner: Mattel.

The Fisher-Price Little People Run-DMC collector set launched today as an Amazon exclusive. The special edition features a trio of chunky figurines for ages 1 and up inspired by the mid-80s looks of Joseph “Run” Simmons, Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell, and Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels with the “Kings from Queens” rockin’ their famous hats, gold chains, and Adidas kicks.

Over the past two years, Mattel has infused the Fisher-Price Little People brand with an increasing number of pop culture properties, including He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Lord of the Rings, and WWE. Additionally, licensing for Run-DMC has been on the upswing over the past year with the hip-hop pioneers becoming Super7 ReAction Figures and a set of Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures as well.
