Hot Wheels is taking its Formula 1 (F1) lineup from die-cast to digital.

Next spring, all 22 official team cars from the 2026 F1 season will speed onto Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, the brand’s racing video game. Developed by Mattel and Milestone, the F1 Car Collection Pack re-creates the F1 grid from their Hot Wheels die-cast counterparts, giving fans the chance to race as their favorite teams and drivers across the game’s toy-scale tracks.

The new cars will join the Speeder category — the fastest class available — and expand the game’s existing roster of more than 150 virtual vehicles. Players can put them to the test across the game’s many high-speed circuits and challenges while competing against friends, family, and other players around the world.

The new downloadable content (DLC) marks the latest expansion of F1 and Mattel’s partnership. Since 2024, the collaboration has brought the racing series to a wide variety of Hot Wheels products and fan experiences, and even took home the award for Best Licensed Toys or Games Range at the 2026 Licensing Awards.

“Our partnership with Mattel and Hot Wheels keeps evolving for our fans, and this latest move gives them the opportunity to race their favorite driver’s car in the Hot Wheels Infinite Rush video game,” says Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of F1. “They can play against friends and family, immersing themselves in the world of F1 and enjoying the speed, competition, and drama of the sport in a whole new format.”

The F1 Car Collection Pack will launch in March 2027. In the meantime, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush is available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X, and PC via Steam, the Microsoft Store, and the Epic Games Store.
