Nintendo, SEGA, and Mattel offer new games and material this week through next month, with new titles, expansions, and reimagined classics across consoles and mobile platforms.
‘MLB The Show 26,’ ‘Deadzone: Rogue,’ and Spring-Themed Play Come to Nintendo
Nintendo’s latest releases include sports, action, nostalgia, and seasonal play across Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. (The game is also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.) Headlining the lineup, MLB The Show 26 brings updated Road to the Show features and NCAA integration. Baltimore Orioles alum Adam Jones, who represented Team USA in the World Baseball Classic in 2013 and 2017. Jones serves the team intermittently as a coach and is a community ambassador for the franchise; he joins more than 40 “legends” in the game. Current players include Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and Ketel Marte.
Deadzone: Rogue delivers fast-paced gameplay with co-op and new Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. Fans can revisit Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, available via Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
A spring-themed digital spotlight highlights cozy titles like Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Stardew Valley. Additional updates include new eShop releases, ongoing Mario Kart events, and fresh Nintendo Music playlists.
‘Shinobi: Art of Vengeance’ Adds ‘Villains’ April 3
SEGA releases the Shinobi: Art of Vengeance SEGA Villains Stage DLC April 3 across consoles and PC. The expansion introduces three bosses inspired by Golden Axe, Like a Dragon, and Sonic the Hedgehog, alongside five new stages, Boss Rush modes, outfits, and more. A free update launching the same day adds a Hardcore Mode and gameplay adjustments, expanding the experience for returning players.
‘Mattel Match’ Brings Iconic Brands Together
Mattel and Uken Games launch Mattel Match. The free-to-play 3D matching game us available on iOS and Android. The title brings together brands such as Barbie, Hot Wheels, and UNO, allowing players to collect themed items while completing match-three challenges. Features include digital galleries with archival details, social progression systems, and ongoing live updates with seasonal events and new content.
Talking Tom Updates Add Second Floor, Expand Interactive Gameplay
Outfit7 updates two of its mobile titles with new ways to explore and interact. My Talking Tom Friends adds a second floor, introducing new spaces, relocated rooms, and additional environmental interactions that change how players move through the home. The update marks the first phase of a broader expansion planned for summer. Meanwhile, My Talking Tom 2 enhances its bathroom with step-by-step care mini-games, including dental tasks, injury treatment, and recovery scenarios guided by a progress meter. New interactive elements and a Bathroom Cabinet shop further expand gameplay, adding more structured and varied activities across both titles.
