Beacon Media Group is making its first staffing move following the news that ChizComm Ltd. would acquire the leader in media planning and buying for kids’ consumer products and entertainment — a story we exclusively reported here at The Toy Book last week. Nunzio Appio will join the company as vice president, video activation and strategy, beginning March 4.
Appio, a media sales veteran who served with A4 Media and Data Solutions and Turner Broadcasting Inc., will oversee the national video team, in addition to leading, strategizing, and managing all national video upfront and scatter partnerships on behalf of Beacon Media clients.
During his time at Turner, Nunzio secured multi-platform advertising and marketing partnerships on networks such as Cartoon Network and Boomerang, with clients pulling in over $80M in revenue across toys, video games, movies, and apparel.
