Pop Mart is known for its large offering of original collectible figures, licensed figures, mystery boxes, and more. The Chinese retailer started its global business push in 2018 and hasn’t looked back, with a current presence in 25 countries and regions.

The company’s first Australian store opened its doors in Melbourne in August of 2022, and soon after saw the launch of two additional retail locations in Sydney. Now, another two stores are coming to the land down under, with new Brisbane and Sydney locations.

As a representative of China's art toy industry, we will continue to deepen our business development in Australia, and bring in more art toys from China, interacting with consumers from different cultural backgrounds and creating more artistic and cultural sparks.
Yuki Wu, General Manager of Pop Mart Australia and New Zealand

Sunny Brisbane is Australia’s third largest city and saw its first Pop Mart retail location open to the public at the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre on July 8. Just a week after, on July 15, a third Sydney store opened its doors in Westfield Parramatta.

The locations offered a number of limited-edition products to entice shoppers, including the Skullpanda Dark Maid figurine and Labubu Shepherd figurine. The Indooroopilly store also hosted a photoshoot spot featuring Skullpanda characters.

Pop Mart continues to expand its retail locations. The company has a number of stores as well as Robo Shop vending machines offering its figures. It has partnered previously with Disney, Warner Bros., and others, and shows no signs of slowing down.
