Spielwarenmesse eG is revving its engines for a return to the in-person trade fair for which it is best known.

Following a two-year digital detour, Spielwarenmesse will welcome the international toy industry back to the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre in Nuremberg, Germany from Feb. 1-3, 2023. Organizers state that a renewed focus will be placed on the physical trade show while its companion platform, Spielwarenmesse Digital, will remain operational to extend the show’s reach.

“This business depends on live experiences — there is simply no substitute for person-to-person communication,” says Christian Ulrich, spokesperson of the executive board, Spielwarenmesse eG. “Only by being there on-site can one make use of all the senses to discover the products in all their diversity.”

Spielwarenmesse seeks to attract new exhibitors with a New Exhibitor Package with space in the StartupArea. New exhibitor registration is open now through July 31.

“We received a large number of bookings from all over the world within a short time of registration opening, which shows the high level of interest and attachment,” Ulrich says. “We are already looking forward to meeting everyone again in 2023.”
