We’ve already mentioned WildBrain’s plans to bring the Teletubbies to Licensing Expo this June, but that’s not all the company will be representing. The time-tested Strawberry Shortcake brand will also be getting its moment in the spotlight.

WildBrain, known for its kids’ entertainment content, has further expanded the reach of Strawberry Shortcake. Season 3 of the company’s original animated series Berry in the Big City is set to drop on the official YouTube channel July 15. In anticipation of the next season of the popular series, WildBrain continues to secure partnerships for the brand.

“We’ve seen incredible growth in Strawberry Shortcake fandom this year, with this iconic character continuing to capture the hearts of audiences young and old around the world,” says Elizabeth Litten Miller, Vice President, Franchise Strategy at WildBrain. “As we harness WildBrain’s 360-degree approach to brand building across content creation, audience engagement, and global licensing, the soaring popularity of the World of Strawberry Shortcake has generated not only new content deals, but a whole new wave of licensing opportunities and innovative activations.”

Strawberry Shortcake has seen new partners signs such as Hunniedeux for character-inspired make-up palettes, Little Bird Bamboo for matching sets of adult and toddler apparel, Goose Creek Candles for strawberry-scented candles, and Hot Topic for a full retail collection. These new deals follow the recent launch of scented bags from Loungefly as well as a collection of apparel and more from Dolls Kill.

These new deals are just the beginning for the brand. There are also a number of new distribution partners for the Berry in the Big City series as well as new activations at US retail locations.

Licensing Expo 2023 runs from June 13-15 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Visit the WildBrain CPLG Booth No. F214 to get more information regarding partnership opportunities with the Strawberry Shortcake brand.
