WildBrain is keeping up efforts to see the Teletubbies brand to new heights with a series of licensing agreements, store plans, and event showings.

WildBrain, headquartered in Canada, is well-known for its kids’ content. It has around 13,000 hours of entertainment in its library, representing beloved brands such as Peanuts, Strawberry Shortcake, Caillou, and more. The company has seen Teletubbies release a new live-action series, enter into a number of licensing agreements, and more. Now, Teletubbies further expands its colorful empire with even more opportunities and merchandise.

Building on the launch of new content on Netflix and YouTube during the brand’s 25th anniversary celebrations in 2022, this vibrant roster of collaborations demonstrates the Teletubbies’ enduring appeal across the globe.

WildBrain is taking Teletubbies to a number of trade shows. The brand will be making its way to Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) in London Oct. 4-6, where WildBrain CPLG will have a booth representing Teletubbies and other brands at Stand No. B171. The company will also be at China Licensing Expo in Shanghai Oct. 17-19.

Beyond trade shows, Teletubbies has new partnerships and activations in China. The retailer Miniso will be entering a global partnership with WildBrain to see Teletubbies products launched across Miniso’s network of more than 5,000 lifestyle stores. The products featured include stationery, accessories, homewares, toys, and more.

WildBrain has also revealed a new location-based entertainment business utilizing a partnership with Max-Matching Entertainments Co. The Teletubbies-themed family entertainment centers and hotel rooms will launch in Beijing; Zhongshan City, Guangdong; and a third city yet to be announced. The brand was also featured at an installation in the YOHO Mall in Hong Kong.

Teletubbies also has a number of upcoming merchandising partnerships such as a Dolls Kill collection, a Cakeworthy collection, Skinnydip phone cases, and more. With the Teletubbies series reboot performing well and looking forward to its first season airing in Latin America and the Caribbean, WildBrain can boast an impressive pile of expansion plans for the brand.

To learn more about Teletubbies licensing opportunities, interested parties are encouraged to visit WildBrain CPLG at BLE next month.
