Boat Rocker Media‘s Boat Rocker Studios division appointed Denise Gomez to the newly created role of director of licensing for the Americas.
Gomez joins the company from WarnerMedia, where she spent 14 years at Cartoon Network across a variety of roles, most recently as senior director of licensing. In her new role, Gomez will manage licensing & promotions across all genres with a heavy focus on its kids and family brands across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. The company’s Dino Ranch is headed to Disney Junior and CBC this month and has toy and publishing deals with Jazwares and Scholastic, respectively. Other focus titles include Kingdom Force, Remy and Boo, and Love Monster.

Prior to her time at Cartoon Network, Gomez worked at Nickelodeon Consumer Products where she launched its foray into consumer electronics and developed strategies for Blue’s Clues, SpongeBob SquarePants, and more.
