Never Wrong Toys — the makers of Laser Pegs — inked a deal with Genius Brands International Inc. to serve as global master toy partner for the animated series, Rainbow Rangers.

The series about a team of girls who serve as “Earth’s first responders” is currently streaming on Genius Brands’ Kartoon Channel! and will debut on Netflix in the U.S., Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East next month.

Under the new agreement, Genius Brands and Never Wrong Toys will develop a full range of preschool toys, including dolls, action figures, vehicles, playsets, plush, electronic and interactive toys, roleplay items, and more.

“We are seeing increasing demand across social media for more ways to interact with the characters and stories of this highly engaging series about seven diverse girls with seven different powers who work together to protect the planet and its animals,” says Harold Chizick, president of global content sales, marketing and consumer products, Genius Brands. “Season three is going to have a unique twist on the stories that we are excited to bring to consumer products as well.”

The new toys will debut next year and will be timed for release with the third season of Rainbow Rangers, which will debut exclusively on Kartoon Channel! in the first quarter.

Rainbow Rangers is a unique original preschool brand that appeals to both girls and boys with its messages of empowerment, friendship, adventure, and environmental consciousness, and we are excited to collaborate with Genius Brands to further engagement with the brand through an all-new action-based toy line that will resonate with young kids around the world,” says Eva Wong, co-founder, Never Wrong Toys.

Rainbow Rangers is seen by kids around the world through a growing network of streaming and broadcast partners.

A limited batch of toys inspired by the series was produced by Fisher-Price last year and quickly sold out at Amazon and Walmart.
