Pocket.watch, a digital-first content and intellectual property (IP) company, sealed an integrated partnership deal between Sunlight Entertainment, Ryan Kaji’s family-owned production company, and Dole Foods to expand the Island Adventures program. Designed to educate young viewers of the popular YouTube series Ryan’s World on nutrition and the harvesting process, expansions to the Island Adventures program include a new range of toys, live and animated content, and additions to Tag with Ryan, a pocket.watch mobile game.

26 million co-branded Royal Hawaiian and Tropical Gold Pineapples are set to hit grocery stores with Ryan featured on the packaging. The co-branded produce will support Bonkers Toys’ new product line, including the Giant Mystery Volcano,  Mystery Mini Tiki Egg, and Mystery Pineapple Egg.

The partnership also brings new features to Tag with Ryan, such as pineapple character upgrades and a new Island Adventures welcome screen.

“Dole is always seeking fun new ways to reach families and help educate on happiness and wellness through produce,” says William Goldfield, Director of Corporate Communications, at Dole. “By connecting with such a recognizable brand for families as Ryan’s World, pocket.watch provided Dole a powerful partner to help deliver the joy, flavor and pure sweetness of our pineapple.”

Dole recently invited Ryan to its Pineapple Farm in Oahu, Hawaii to produce educational content on how their products are made. Ryan’s World fans can catch videos featuring Ryan’s adventures in learning everything from planting to packaging pineapples.
