Biker Mice from Mars

The Biker Mice from Mars are getting a trio of sweet new rides and an assist from Deadpool himself.

Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) is in full effect and The Nacelle Co. just held its annual panel to discuss all the latest happenings from company founder and CEO Brian Volk-Weiss (The Toys That Made Us, A Toy Store Near You) and the crew.

Now, The Toy Book and our sister publication, The Pop Insider, have your exclusive first look at the new motorcycles from Nacelle Consumer Products’ Biker Mice from Mars.

The same way you can’t have a hot dog without a bun, what would a biker mouse be without a bike? I believe we have definitely answered that question!”
Brian Volk-Weiss, Founder & CEO, The Nacelle Company

Throttle, Vinnie, and Modo will live up to the “Biker” portion of the name with a trio of motorcycles developed by the Nacelle team in just a few short months following consumer feedback. Since the Mice were first announced, Nacelle has been swift to react to requests, including the addition of heads with helmets and the bikes themselves.

Speaking of hot dogs, the 7-inch Biker Mice from Mars come with hot dog accessories and feature 22 points of articulation. Each figure comes in a vintage-inspired package.

While consumer preorders for the figures have opened via Nacelle’s direct-to-consumer website, specialty retailers, distributors, or other buyers interested in stocking the line or others can email Michael Goodman: mgoodman@nacellecompany.com. The bikes will be available to preorder this fall.

In other news, first reported at Deadline, Ryan Reynolds is joining the Biker Mice from Mars animated series as a Co-Producer through his company, Maximum Effort.

“Some people know that I am a motorcycle enthusiast, so it was only natural for us to jump on board Biker Mice from Mars,” Reynolds says. “Maximum Effort and Fubo look forward to putting a new spin on this cult classic with our friends at Nacelle.”

Brian Volk-Weiss will helm the pilot and serves as Executive Producer alongside Cisco Henson, Matt Kravitsky, and Michael Goodman, for The Nacelle Co. Maximum Effort’s George Dewey, Kevin Hill, Patrick Gooing, and Ryan Reynolds will also serve as Executive Producers alongside Fubo’s David Gandler and Pamela Duckworth.

The series is set to air on the Reynolds-curated Maximum Effort Channel, which is available for streaming on Fubo, Amazon Freevee, LG Channels, Plex, Sling Freestream, Tubi, VIDAA, VIZIO Watchfree+, and Xumo Play.

Originally launched as an animated series in 1993, Biker Mice from Mars first hit toy departments in 1995 with a line of action figures, vehicles, and playsets from Galoob Toys. The line inspired video games from Tiger Electronics and Konami and was relaunched in the mid-aughts with toys by Giochi Preziosi.

The line joins a growing staple of relaunched toy brands from Nacelle, including Sectaurs (formerly Coleco), The Great Garloo (formerly Marx Toys), Power Lords (formerly Revell), and Robo Force (formerly Ideal) — all brands that have appeared in the pages of The Toy Book at some point over the past few decades.
