Two German entities are pooling their power to put on a magnitudinous event.

The conceptual events of Spielwarenmesse eG’s planned Licensing-X trade fair are being combined with BRANDmate to form the basis of a licensing business and collaboration event. This will bring together the skills of the Nuremberg-based fair and marketing services provider with those of the organizers of a cross-sector B2B networking event covering collaboration, partnerships, and licensing — and of the global association Licensing International. The first joint event will take place in Offenbach on June 21-22, 2023.

“It is important to me that the event should retain its modern, unconventional spirit and expand across many sectors, such that it becomes even more diverse and attractive to brands and companies from all areas,” says Eva Stemmer, managing director of the newly formed BRANDmate. “In Spielwarenmesse, we have found a partner who wishes to travel this path with us.”

The first joint event in June 2023 will feature a stage for speakers and presentations, several networking areas, master classes, an evening event with a live concert, and exhibition space for brands and companies to present themselves and bring their models to life.
