Warner Bros. Consumer Products Names Samantha Bushy SVP North America, Head of E-Commerce

Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) is ramping up efforts on building its direct-to-consumer business.

Effective immediately, e-commerce veteran Samantha Bushy assumes the role of senior vice president of North America and head of e-commerce. Bushy joins the company from Apple Inc. where she served as head of e-commerce – global marketplaces, worldwide digital channel driving strategy for its Amazon marketplace business.

“Direct-to-consumer engagement and commerce are critical components to our success and strategic vision,” says Pam Lifford, president, Warner Bros. Global Brands and Experiences. “I am excited to leverage Sam’s vast experience. She will provide exceptional insight, expertise, and leadership to complement our amazing team.”

In her new role, Bushy will report to Lifford as she manages the overall strategic direction, growth, and development of WBCP’s business — including consumer and category strategy and retail and licensee management — in the U.S. and Canada. She will also be the lead executive for global e-commerce initiatives.

Bushy previously held positions at Nike, Pacific Gas and Electric, and managed client services and corporate sponsorships for the New England Patriots.
