Things are getting Spookley at Gund.
Holiday Hill Farm and Spin Master‘s Gund division inked a multiyear licensing pact under which Gund will create and distribute premium plush in all sizes based on characters including Spookley the Square Pumpkin and his holiday friends Mistletoe and the Christmas Kittens, Lyla the Love Bug, JellyBean the Easter Chick, and Beacon the Firefly.

Spookley the Square Pumpkin has become a perennial Halloween favorite since its debut in 2004. The 45-minute animated movie continues to win new fans every year and is back on Disney Junior where it will air through Halloween.

While Spookley is available to stream year-round on Netflix (and can be rented or purchased on other digital platforms), the pumpkin and his friends have become a growing franchise from creator Joe Troiano’s Holiday Hill Farm. Other seasonal specials and short films include The Spookley Valentine Show, The Spookley Easter Show, and The Spookley Summer Show. Later this year, Spookley and the Christmas Kittens (2019) will return to Disney Junior.
Additionally, Spookley toplines four seasonal music albums that are available on more than 35 streaming services, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, and a series of Holiday Hill Farm Books.
Spookley’s also serves as the “Official Spokes-Pumpkin” for National Bullying Prevention Month in October through a partnership with PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center.
