ZAG’s Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir is about to get sweeter.
The global animation studio and its Spanish licensing agent, DeAPlaneta Entertainment, are working with Italian chocolate company Ferrero to create Miraculous-themed Kinder Surprise Eggs Maxi.
“Ferrero’s Kinder Surprise eggs continue to be as popular today as ever with children and adults alike,” says Hyde Schram, ZAG’s vice president for global partnerships. “With this new promotion, we are once again combining two powerful brands to bring these tasty chocolate treats and beloved characters to existing and new audiences across Europe.”
The Kinder Surprise Eggs will feature eight characters from the show, including Ladybug, Shadow Moth, Rena Furtive, Vesperia, and more from the TV series and its animated specials.
“Ferrero’s chocolate and confectionery products are well-known among families and children and their marketing strategy is one of the finest of the market,” says Sara Redolfi, the category manager at DeAPlaneta Entertainment. “We have been collaborating with Ferrero since 2018, and they continue to be a strategic partner for the Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir brand.”
The Kinder Surprise Eggs are an in-store promotion across Europe which will hit stores this month.
